Can I Meet You lot Over again is the type of gimmicky romance I've been looking for. Allison Morgan pens a sugariness and cute romance with emotional depth that left me smiling until the very end. I just accept 1 question for the author: Ms. Morgan, Tin I See You Again?

Bree is a matchmaker with a about-perfect success rate. Her one failure, Nixon Voss, is a high-powered businessman who can't seem to find the correct woman to win his centre. Bree's debut novel, Can I See You Once again, is set to striking shelves presently and her publicist has a massive campaign in the works. What I liked nigh about this book was how it made me feel. It had this sweetness charm to information technology that left me feeling happy from the first page to the last. The novel was beautiful overall, simply information technology was too funny and had level emotional depth that was refreshing to see. I've been searching for a good gimmicky romance that had characters I felt attached to just wasn't filled with dramatics. This was but the volume for me and it came at just the right time.

"You're not here because your mom said then. You're here because yous're a thirty-five twelvemonth-old man with no i to share your life. Your business firm is cold and sterile. There's probably expired milk in your fridge. And more than probable, gray hairs are sprouting upwards in inappropriate places. Your comfort zone is shrinking and, at the end of the day, you're alone."

The chemistry betwixt Nixon and Bree was there from the become go. Nixon knew exactly how to push button Bree just enough to make her see a different perspective. I love information technology when an author takes the reader along with the characters as they get to know each other. The way Morgan built the romantic connectedness between the characters was cracking, which made me believe in the romance.

"Tell you what, I'll walk."
"Fine. Caput north. I'll run into you in a hundred and twenty miles."

At the center of this story is Bree finding out what she wants and who she wants to be.  She has to repair her past wounds and become by her own heartache to move forward. I really liked that this wasn't merely a honey story but also a family unit story—1 that took Bree dorsum to her childhood and fabricated her face up some difficult things. I really liked Bree'due south human relationship with her grandmother, Jo.

"Who needs 'em? I ever say, if plan A fails, yous have twenty-five letters left."

There were a few things that bothered me in this volume. At ane point, Bree gets an chaser without her grandma's knowledge in hopes of saving her grandma'southward business firm from being sold on the courthouse steps. I didn't find this entirely accurate or believable, as no chaser would talk to a third party (Bree) without the customer's consent first or without proper legal documentation (like a guardianship or power of attorney). Bree's internal monologue was sometimes a fleck over-the-height merely it wasn't enough to affect my enjoyment of the volume. Lastly, I wish the book hadn't ended and then abruptly. I wanted a footling bit more fourth dimension to exhale before that last period.

Bottom Line: Recommended for readers looking for a lighthearted love story full of emotional depth and sweet moments without over-the-elevation dramatics.
